provide this note about our privacy policy to inform our users about how we handle their data and how we follow all data guidelines as defined by General Data Protection Regulation short GDPR.
In this document you can find all your data that we collect and also data that ends up in 3rd parties like Google (Use of Google Maps and Google Advertisements). According to guidelines defined by General Data Protection Regulation short GDPR you can advise us to delete all your data.
Data Retention
For internal reasons we keep for every request your IP address and time of your request. We need to keep this data for a short period of time to protect us from security threats like DoS attacks or very frequent requests where we can suspend our service for those IP addresses temporarily.
However we do not track our users in any way, and also do not use user id or any other identification method on the data running through the application. Each request is handled on its own, independently from any other coming in. User data is not saved. Request data, such as IP Address and location will be logged solely for debugging purposes.
These logs get deleted in regular intervals by the discretion of ornior.
We cannot provide users their specific data, since there is no way on our end to know who sent which request.
Data processors
Our engine searching for the closest charging stations according to the given filter criteria will process the location and filter settings, and return a list of most suitable results.
The filter criteria including the location is logged, to enable the team to solve issues, however the data processor and filter engine does not retain user information and also does not store the filter criteria in combination with the location locally.
How we collect data
We save IP addresses for the aforementioned purpose of application safety and maintainability.
In addition our app uses Google Maps API, which saves User Data and Google AdMob SDK to display adds as described in the section: “Google Maps APIs”
How we use data
We use the data to give the users the best search results for the charging stations they are looking for.
We use google maps and Google AdMob SDK to display those results and to display adds, and Google Maps uses data as is outlined in the section: “Google Maps APIs”
There is no user specific data in the application, and there is no way for the application to filter users based on any profiling rules, since the application is agnostic to user ids.
How we disclose data
There are 2 3rd party services which can access user data of users of our services. They are Google AdMob SDK and the Google Maps API. More information about those services is outlined in the section: “Google Maps APIs”
How we store data
The data stored by our application does not hold any user specific data, however the 3rd party applications Google AdMob SDK and the Google Maps API. More about that you can find in the section: “Google Maps APIs”
The only data stored is logged data for debugging, and IP Addresses for the aforementioned reasons.
The data subject’s rights
Since we cannot track user ids to search or filter criteria, therefore there is no data which could be deleted, or even verified to belong to a user should a request like that arrive.

How to complain

Changes of the services
We may make changes to the Services, which may include adding, updating, or discontinuing any Services or portion or feature(s) of the Services. We will notify users of any material change to the Services
Changes of the privacy policy
We may change the privacy policy of the app, and should this change, a new version will bring the update to the users devices. The new app will then refer to the new privacy policy.
The user must accept the changed privacy policy or stop using the services.
Google Maps APIs
Google stands for following: Google Ireland Limited located in Ireland (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland)
To be able to pinpoint your location on the map provided by Google we must provide your location to Google but only your location and in no way your personal information or any identification of your device. Google AdMob SDK
To be able to serve you locations and details of charging stations we monetize our running costs with ads. The service we use is Google AdMob SDK.
